    The activities of Ecobank Chad, (ECT) is regulated by COBAC: Commission Bancaire de l’Afrique Centrale (Central Africa Banking Commission) which is supervised and regulated by the Banking Supervision Department‘’, an organ of the BEAC “Banque des Etats de l’Afrique Centrale” (Central Bank of Central Africa).

    ECT obtained its banking license in December 2006 (after the acquisition of former BIAT). Since 2006, an aggressive expansion programme by management has been commissioned and ETD currently has 14 branches and 1 cash point. The objective remains the same (to be closer to the customer).

    Ecobank CHAD like other affiliates of the group intends to work with its customers to offer tailor-made banking products (Islamic banking has already been introduced) and services at competitive prices. ECT will seek to create an exceptional banking institution focused on customers, employees and shareholders’ satisfaction. It is an institution committed to service excellence.
