This is an open-ended mutual fund which invests strictly in short term Money Market instruments
including Treasury Bills, blue chip Commercial Papers, Bankers’ Acceptances and Fixed
Deposits. The fund offers attractive returns on your investment while ensuring that you still have
the liquidity to meet your needs as they fall, hence avoiding penalties.

EDC Nigeria Fixed Income Fund:
This is an open-ended mutual fund which invests strictly in low risk and high-quality government
and corporate bonds. The fund is most suitable for medium- or long-term investors and offers a
stable income through the distribution of a semi-annual interest. The primary objectives of the
fund are to achieve a high level of income, preserve capital, maintain liquidity, and pay out
returns that reflect medium to long term interest rates.

The EDC Balanced Fund (BF):
This fund aims to offer subscribers capital appreciation and income generation while
mitigating the volatility in the Nigerian equities market by investing in a diversified portfolio
of select Nigerian equities and fixed income securities.

The main objective of the Fund is to achieve income generation and capital appreciation over
time while mitigating the volatility associated with the Nigerian equity market for the Investors.
This is achieved by investing in a diversified and selected portfolio of high-quality Shariah
compliant instruments.

- • Halal Compliance: It aims to provide its unit holders with halal profits on the growth
of their capital over the long-term in accordance with the principles of Islamic finance.

b. Federal Republic of Nigeria (FGN) Bonds and FGN Treasury Bills:
These investment products allow clients to participate in the sovereign issuances of the Federal
Republic of Nigeria (both in primary and secondary markets). The instruments’ investment
highlights include sovereign guarantee, attractive interest rates and liquidity.
c. Eurobonds:
Eurobonds are Dollar denominated bonds. They present investors with the benefit or possibility of
achieving a higher yield on investments and preservation of value.
d. Equity Purchase & Advisory:
