If you forget your actual cards, you can always shop or send a gift at any time.
You are in total control with the Ecobank mobile app. You select which account to take the funds from when creating the card. You also have the choice to block, unblock and delete transactions, and even reverse them. You’ll have the opportunity to review your transaction before completing it in the same way you would if using an actual card.
All your transactions are notified by SMS alert and/or email, so you can keep a record.
As soon as the card is created, it’s ready to use.
You have a choice of what you want to use the virtual card for – shopping or send it as a gift to someone.
Shopping cards are valid for one year from creating them, and gift cards are valid for three months.
You can refill a shopping card via your Ecobank mobile app any time. Gift cards are exempt from this facility.
The daily limit is XAF 1,000,000.
To create a card will cost you as little as XAF 3,000, excluding tax.
